10, 15, 20!
6:16 pm -- January 29, 2004

I was sitting in my room, bored, when I decided that I would waste my precious time and come up with my Top 10 Favorite CD’s. Then, after going over the allotted 10, I decided to go for Top 15. Five minutes later, it became Top 20. As you can see, I’m very indecisive. So Top 20 it is! Enjoy.

1- Spitalfield – Remember Right Now
This albums is one of the best albums out there. You should go out and buy it. It’s so energetic and upbeat and I just plain like it.

2- The Ataris – So Long, Astoria
This album almost took the #1 spot, but every time I pop this CD into my player, it reminds me of someone I’d like to soon forget, so bumped to #2 it was.

3- Switchfoot – The Beautiful Letdown
I almost made this #2, but So Long, Astoria was just an awesome album. The Beautiful Letdown is a good one. I never get tired of it. “Gone” and “On Fire” are the best songs.

4- The Early November – For All of This
Um, hi. My favorite song in the world [“Come Back”] is on this album. I couldn’t just pass this one by.

5- New Found Glory – New Found Glory
This was the beginning of my NFG obsession. Though I’m not so much obsessed anymore. I just like them.

6- Linkin Park – Hybrid Theory
Oh, come on. This is one of the best albums out there. Every song is just great. I have no more words.

7- Blink 182 – Blink 182
My second favorite song in the world [“Always”] is on here. Plus, this album is really, really good.

8- New End Original – Thriller
Brendan Leonard sure does recommend some great bands. This CD is just great.

9- The Juliana Theory – Emotion is Dead
“This is Not a Love Song” was the first TJT song I ever heard. I thank Paul for introducing me to them.

10- The Early November – The Room’s Too Cold
I love TEN. They’re just that good. “Everything's Too Cold...but You're so Hot” is a song with great melodies. “The Mountain Range in my Living Room.” is a good one, too. Yeah.

11- The Juliana Theory – Understand This is a Dream
When I first got this CD, I couldn’t get it out of my player for about two months straight. It was just that good.

12- The Used – The Used
This is a good album to listen to if you’re in a frustrated mood. Well it is for me, anyway.

13- The Get Up Kids – Something to Write Home About
This album just relaxes me. Sometimes that’s just what I need.

14- No Doubt – Tragic Kingdom
You can make fun of me if you’d like, but Tragic Kingdom was damn good. This album was a big part of my middle school years for a long time. Plus, I’m just a girl. Heh.

15- 23 Complaints – Until Time Runs Out
Dude, these guys are gonna become huge. The band members went to my high school. Their CD is freaking incredible. I pity the fools who don’t know about them.

16- Jamison Parker – Notes and Photographs
Okay, so there’s only 5 songs on this album, but they’re all sooooo good!

17- Alanis Morissette – Jagged Little Pill
Another middle school CD I couldn’t put down. It was always No Doubt and Alanis. Feel free to make fun, but I’m not ashamed of owning this album.

18- Relient K – Two Lefts Don’t Make a Right…But Three Do
“Getting Into You.” That’s all I have to say.

19- The Plus Ones – It’s A Calling
Hi. Never heard of them? I don’t know why. They’re amazing. A-mazing. Another Brendan Leonard band. Gotta love him!

20- The Cardigans – First Band on the Moon
Yeah, I like The Cardigans. Wanna make something of it?

Boy. Now I feel like Rob Gordon from the movie High Fidelity. Besides the fact that he had Top 5 lists, not Top 20 lists. I just go way overboard.
